I'm Kurt George, a design engineer in Calgary. I'm originally from Newfoundland, but studied Interaction Design - Web Design and Development at SAIT, where I learned to design websites and build them at the same time.
I've been designing and coding websites since 2022, and a lot of that time has gone into working out how the two fit together.
Local businesses and the people who run them. That might be a shop, a clinic, a restaurant, a studio or a contractor. I'm not tied to one industry.
Plenty of small businesses don't have a marketing team or anyone on staff who looks after the website. That's fine. You tell me about the business and who you want to reach, and I handle the rest.
You deal with me from the first conversation through to launch. I plan the site, design it and write the code myself, so nothing gets lost passing work between people, and what we agree on in the design is what goes live.
I hand code first, so the site is built around your business and only carries the code it needs. If you'd rather have a page builder, Framer is usually my pick.
Once it's live I can keep looking after it, with hosting, updates and small changes as things come up.
